About
Welcome to The Crew, a culinary gem nestled in the heart of San Francisco at 1330 Noriega St. This inviting Korean eatery has quickly become a favorite for those seeking a taste of authentic Korean comfort food. With a menu that boasts a stunning array of dishes, The Crew is here to tantalize the taste buds and soothe the soul.
As I stepped into The Crew, I was instantly enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The recent remodel has transformed the dining space into a romantic setting adorned with crystal chandeliers and inviting slate color walls. It feels both upscale and comfortable, making it a perfect spot for a casual dinner or a special occasion.
Now, let's dive into the culinary offerings that make The Crew stand out. Their soup, stew, and hot pot category is a must-try. The Spicy Crab Stew captivates with its rich flavors of red chili pepper and soybean paste, perfectly complemented by a medley of fresh vegetables and served with rice. Another highlight is the Budae Jigae, a spicy mixed sausage stew overflowing with ramen, tofu, cheese, and kimchi. It's a comforting dish that packs a flavorful punch!
The main dishes are equally impressive. The Seafood Pancake is one of my personal favorites, delivering a delightful crunch with a generous mix of fresh seafood and green onions. For something with a kick, the Kimchi Pancake doesn't disappoint; it's vegetarian-friendly but bursting with flavor. And if you're feeling adventurous, don’t miss the Kimchi Cheese Pancake, a unique twist that brings a cheesy delight to a classic favorite.
Each visit to The Crew is marked by exceptional service and a variety of dishes that leave a lasting impression. Patrons rave about the generous portion sizes, especially for dishes like the Kalbi Jjim, braised short ribs that are tender and bursting with flavor. Not to mention, the restaurant is known for its bonchon side dishes like kimchi, salad, and bean sprouts, which perfectly accompany the main events.
Drinks are not neglected either; the selection offers everything from classic sodas to unique Korean beverages. The intoxicating mix of flavors available is further enriched by glowing reviews from happy diners. Nitin Nazeer raves about the kimchi, calling it “the best in San Francisco,” while Gabby Lim highlights the impressive remodel and the delightful, premium ingredients, such as chestnuts and dates in their Kalbi Jjim.
If you find yourself in San Francisco, The Crew is a must-visit destination for anyone craving authentic Korean cuisine served in a delightful and inviting atmosphere. With so much to offer—from cozy meals to impeccable service—it’s no wonder the restaurant is receiving rave reviews. Don't hesitate to gather your friends or family and enjoy a fantastic dining experience!

“ This is the best kimchi in San Francisco. Its very flavorful and strong, and almost has a sodalike texture due to the fermentation. The kimchi fried rice and spicy tofu soup are delicious, and the portions are quite generous. Each order comes with bonchon side dishes like kimchi, salad, bean sprouts, and fish cake. Theyre also open late! ”
“ Love this place! Theyre open late and the quality of the food is great. My favorites are the seafood pajeon, fried chicken wings, and their seafood soon dubu. ”
“ Came on a Tuesday night at 830pm and our large group of 7 was able to be seated with no delays. Shortly after though between 910pm, the restaurant was pretty crowded. Fortunately we beat the rush. The food comes out and is really yummy but for the larger entrees they actually do not seem that huge. For example the daeho kalbijim definitely way more worth it than this one. But still yummy! Service was good. Overall great late night Korean spot here in the sunset. Enjoy! ”
“ I love this place for years and finally my reviews are way over due. I had to give them the review this time since they reopened after remodeling, finally! Restaurant atmosphere is completely changed. Brand New Romantic crystal chandeliers, slate color walls.. omgsh let me tell you about the bathroom remodels .. clean black toilets and LED mirror Dyson hand dryers perfectly clean! The food serves in hot plates, portions got bigger. Their menu definitely changed so I highly recommend checking their website directly instead of browsing old Google menus. My favorites are their cheese balls, garlic chicken wings, the Crew Tacos for appetizers. We ordered beef dolsot very big portion and tasty. They have good stone pot where it gives my rice very crispy on the bottom. Waitress mixed our food for us. Kalbi jiim very juicy lots of meats compare to other places. They even add chestnut and dates, like original Kalbi JJim in Korea. We ordered prime kotsal it was super premium way more portion and lower price compare to bbq places in San Jose. Im so happy that they carry quality meats. We ordered our favorite kalbi.. and their sauceflavor has been definitely upgraded because it was so much juicier and flavorful. I just we know theres BBQ combo 1 options... it comes with all the beef meats when we saw other tables ordering it next time!!! Their pink Rose Tteokbokki Super creamy and delicious! Its like creamy pasta in Korean version. Must try! Not spicy. Lastly, Seafood Pancake!!! Must add cheese for this! Like a real pizza. I dont know any other place in bay adding this much amount of seafood in their pancake. Trust me I dont write reviews that much but I dine out daily. They have all the Korean drinks, they have my favorite gummy drinks and dessert! ”
“ The Waiter was nice and helpful to explain the menue . Yummy The kitchen was fast. The food is awesome! The decoration are original. It is affordable for good meat. Parking available and free past 6pm. Upscale kind of restaurant Well come back Thank you ”
“ I went to this restaurant with my family last night on Christmas Day! Today is very busy, but the food is delicious! Good service attitude! Highly recommended! ”
“ My review from 2018 is below, but I want to update since their grand reopening! 2023 loved the crew before they closed to renovate, and I love it even more since the grand reopening! They revamped the menu and aesthetics, and its gone from casual local favorite to an elevated experience, while the prices are still just as affordable! They even have more gluten free and vegan options, but kept all the classics like bibimbap and Korean BBQd meats prepared in authentic Korean style. I will be going back regularly, its a 1010! 2018 review Best Korean BBQ in the city! Korean BBQ places are not always very inclusive for people that have food allergies, but gluten free and vegan options are easily found here, and the lovely staff is always happy to accommodate. These folks are famous in the city for their Kim Chi, as well, so it is not to be missed! ”
“ The Crews Mango habanero chicken wings were amazing. Great flavor and the perfect consistency of sauce that wasnt too thick or runny. The honeycomb drink had a great presentation with the honeycomb cut fresh in front of us. The tornado potato stick was light textured and delicious! Good mozzarella cheese balls. ”
